About

Hi, I’m David.
I’m the co-founder of Verbe Digital, a small Amazon Ads and retail media agency based in Farnham, Surrey. I run it with my wife, Naomy, and we work with a small roster of brands we genuinely enjoy helping grow.
I started out in advertising in 2013, joining Dentsu Aegis as a programmatic media trader. From there I worked my way up through the digital marketing ranks, spending the best part of a decade on the agency side at Dentsu and Omnicom before moving to an independent Amazon agency in 2021.
In the summer of 2023, Naomy and I launched Verbe Digital. The reasons were simple, more autonomy over my own life, and more control over the clients and work I took on. After years in the machinery of the big network agencies, I wanted to run something small, honest, and built around doing good work for people we actually like.
Today, Verbe looks after Amazon Ads, retail media, Google Ads and SEO for brands across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. A lot of my day is split between strategy, automation, and the less glamorous but deeply satisfying work of making campaigns perform month after month.
This blog is where I write about it. Mostly monthly, mostly honest. Some posts are about business, AI, scaling without hiring, and the tooling quietly changing how small agencies work. Others are about the pending pile, the bits of running a consultancy no one really talks about, and, every now and then, the dog.
Thanks for stopping by.
